The Problem
As you may know, a significant number of children with incarcerated parents are taken care of by other relatives or the remaining parent during the period of parental incarceration. These caregivers often face numerous challenges, including financial and food insecurity, particularly during the holiday season.
In order to alleviate some of the burdens faced by these caregivers and their children, especially the senior caregivers, we have organized the Turkey and Toys Giveaway. This event is scheduled every December, the FRIDAY, before Christmas, aims to provide toys, frozen turkeys, canned goods, and fresh vegetables to kin caregivers of children with incarcerated mothers.
However, we cannot achieve our goal without your support. We kindly ask for your donation to help defray the costs associated with this initiative. Your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of these caregivers and their children, bringing them some much-needed relief during the holiday season.
