This definition is designed to be inclusive and respectful of cultural values and ties of affection. It allows a child to grow to adulthood in a family environment."

From limited financial resources to health issues, lack of support services, and the emotional impact of the child's separation from their parent, we recognize the difficulties they may face on a daily basis.
